Malik Beasley Draws First Start Of Season Friday
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Malik Beasley has been bumped into the starting five for Friday's contest against the Lakers with Anthony Edwards (health and safety protocols) unavailable. After serving as a near full-time starter over his first year and a half with the Timberwolves, Beasley has scuffled in his transition to the second unit, having averaged just 11 points per game on a career-low 36.1 percent shooting overall. With that said, he stands to see elevated DFS value against L.A., as Taurean Prince (health and safety protocols) also being out leaves Minnesota thin on the wing. In season-long formats that don't log shooting percentage, Beasley is worth a short-term stream based on his scoring history.
