5 years agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves have seemingly unlocked shooting guard Malik Beasley’s terrific scoring ability. He set a new season high during Friday’s loss to the Orlando Magic, stacking up 29 points on 14-for-21 shooting despite playing only 28 minutes. Beasley has now exceeded the 20-point plateau in eight of the 12 games that he has appeared in with the Timberwolves, which is likely to make him a significant player in season-long formats during the playoffs. With the news coming down Friday that Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) will miss at least another two weeks, Beasley’s fantasy value on a nightly basis remains sky high, as he has shown a propensity for scoring in droves.--Jesse Borek
