Malik Monk Goes For 21 Points In 24 Minutes
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets second-year shooting guard Malik Monk has proven that he can score in droves when given the opportunity. Monk went for 21 points on 7-for-14 shooting in 24 minutes during Monday’s win over the Orlando Magic. Jeremy Lamb left the contest with a hamstring injury, which would put Monk in a golden spot as a DFS play this Wednesday versus Dallas should Lamb remain sidelined. In 19.2 minutes per game, Monk is averaging 10.7 points per contest, and while he offers very little aside from scoring and three-pointers, he has excellent upside in those two categories when given playing time.
