7 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk continued his late-season surge on Sunday, recording a third consecutive 20-plus point outing. He scored 22 points in 24 minutes off the bench against Indiana, shooting 8-for-17 from the floor and 3-for-11 from behind the arc. Monk has been mostly anonymous in his rookie year, but he's now logged at least 24 minutes in five straight games and seemingly has free rein on offense, averaging 15 field goal attempts per game while getting 20.4 points.
