6 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk chucked up 19 shots off the bench in an attempt to lead a comeback against the Philadelphia 76ers. Monk finished with 12 points on 4-for-19 shooting in 27 minutes off the bench. Monk got extra run with the starters, outside of Kemba Walker, struggling to keep the game close. Monk was a part of a furious comeback from 21 points to force overtime, but was freezing cold from the field despite the 19 shot attempts. Despite the poor shooting, Monk has now scored in double-digits in five straight games and has seen his minutes increased. Monk is a decent option for points, but does not contribute much else on the stat sheet.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
