5 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk ended up as the team's leading scorer in Monday's loss to Orlando, finishing with 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting. Despite the good scoring night, Monk registered an ugly minus-22 rating and the team lost heavily 106-83. Monk looked promising in his first two years in the league, but his minutes have dropped throughout the season and he's even struggling to get 10-plus minutes some nights. With that said, Monk could play a bigger role towards the end of the season, as the Hornets keep slipping further and further away from playoff contention.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
