6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol was primed for a big game against the Charlotte Hornets Friday, who give up the seventh-most points to opposing centers this season. However, Gasol threw up a dud with just eight points on 3-for-10 shooting to go along with six rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes. Friday's loss snaps a six-game streak of double-digit scoring for Gasol, but he continues to be a great source of assists from the center position. The Grizzlies have been accepting trade calls surrounding Gasol and teammate Mike Conley so there is a small possibility of a change of scenery for Gasol with the trade deadline rapidly approaching.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
