4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center Marc Gasol had a strong performance in Sunday's blowout win over the Timberwolves. Gasol scored 12 points with eight assists, seven rebounds, four blocks, and three triples in 21 minutes. Gasol stepped up with Anthony Davis (calf) out managing a calf contusion, as he put together his best statistical outing of the young season, including a really deep three-pointer. It will be hard for the veteran to string together consistent fantasy performances like this, considering that he'll be battling Montrezl Harrell for minutes down low. Still, it's nice to know that the 35-year-old is still capable of games like this when his number is called.--Tim Capurso
