6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol had one of his quietest performances of the 2018-19 season Monday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, finishing with seven points, five rebounds and four assists after fouling out in 29 minutes. Something has flipped in Gasol’s play since the end of November, as he has reached the 20-point plateau just once in his last 20 games. Owners expecting a high-end level of fantasy production from Gasol should likely temper expectations, even as he continues to add contributions in other categories. He faces the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, whom he is averaging 13.6 points per game against during his career, his fourth-fewest total against any team in the league.--Jesse Borek
