6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol made both of his free throws with 0.7 seconds remaining to lift the Griz to a 104-103 victory over the Spurs on Wednesday night. Gasol finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 35 minutes. He was 6-for-13 from the field, 0-for-4 from beyond the arc, and 8-for-8 from the free throw line. The 33-year-old has failed to knock down a three-pointer (0-for-9)and collect an offensive rebound in his last two games. Gasol will look to extend his double-double streak to five straight games against the Clippers on Friday. The Clippers are allowing the fifth-most points (25.1 per game) to opposing centers this year. However, they have been much better over the last five games, limiting centers to 19.8 points a game and 43.9 percent shooting from the floor.--Daniel Benjamin
