6 years agoToronto Raptors center Marc Gasol needed just 22 minutes on Monday to provide a solid and efficient line to help his club pick up the narrow win over the Nets. Gasol connected on 7-for-9 shooting to score 16 points and added six rebounds with two assists and chipped in a steal with a block on the night. Gasol's role so far looks to be similar to what Jonas Valanciunas had before getting injured and being traded, as we might see the Spaniard get the starting nod for matchup purposes in some games. Either way, we will see a slight dip across the board, but we should see more efficient shooting from the big man the rest of the way.--Gianni Costantiello
