6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol will not take the court for Thursday’s game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder as the team continues to attempt to find a trade partner for their longtime franchise anchor. It’s possible that the club could reverse track if Gasol remains with the organization beyond the Trade Deadline, but it was reported Tuesday that the Charlotte Hornets were in deep talks to acquire the three-time All-Star. Ivan Rabb started in Gasol's place Tuesday and delivered a double-double, although owners will definitely want to let the dust settle around Memphis before making any significant decisions.--Jesse Borek
