6 years agoToronto Raptors center Marc Gasol got his first start in a Raptors uniform on Sunday when he provided 16 points with five rebounds and five assists in the loss to the Magic in Toronto. Gasol posted a decent line that did not include any defensive numbers and he got the start to see if he could slow down Nikola Vucevic, who has had the Raps number this season. The Magic won and Vucevic dominated, so the plan did not pay dividends in the end. Gasol and Serge Ibaka should continue to split time in the middle and who starts will depend on who is lining up in the middle on the other squad.--Gianni Costantiello
