6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol led the charge during Sunday’s loss to the New York Knicks, finishing with 27 points on 10-for-21 shooting across 40 minutes. Gasol was all over the stat sheet for Memphis, adding eight rebounds, five blocks, four assists and two steals, a night so strong that it softened the blow of snapping his five-game double-double streak. He next faces the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, whom he is averaging 17.7 points per game against in his career, tied for his most against any opponent.--Jesse Borek
