7 years agoWashington Wizards center Marcin Gortat played well against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night. Gortat scored 10 points while shooting 5-for-7 from the floor. Besides Gortat's scoring output, he had 12 boards as well. Since March 2, Gortat has been struggling, averaging just 7.9 points and 6.3 rebounds. The next contest for the Wizards and Gortat is the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. The Hornets will have center Dwight Howard primarily defend Gortat.
