6 years agoThe Los Angeles Clippers have acquired center Marcin Gortat from the Wizards in exchange for guard Austin Rivers. Gortat is 34 and is coming off a season in which he averaged under 10 points per game for the first time since the 2009-2010 season. He also averaged just 7.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game. Gortat has played in all 82 games in three of the last four seasons, though, so his ability to stay on the court should give him some fantasy value this coming season if he stays with the Clippers. That's dependent on Los Angeles letting current starting center DeAndre Jordan walk in free agency, but in that scenario Gortat would likely rank outside the top 20 at his position, especially with a talented backup center in Montrezl Harrell taking a good amount of his minutes.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
