6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard Marco Belinelli and power forward/center Davis Bertans both recorded five made threes during Friday’s blowout victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Spurs shot 57.6 percent (19-for-33) from three as a team, with Belinelli tying his season high in makes as Bertans set a new season high. After going 5-for-7 from deep Friday, Bertans has now taken over the league lead in three-point percentage this season at 49.1. The duo squares off with the Houston Rockets on Saturday, who love to shoot from three in their own right, which could lead to a long ball barrage between the two Texas teams.--Jesse Borek
