Marcus Morris Compiles 22 Points In Return To Action
5 years agoNew York Knicks small/power forward Marcus Morris made his return to the starting five following a one-game absence and collected 22 points on 8-for-16 shooting during Thursday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets. Morris also added eight rebounds and two assists, but eclipsed the 30-minute plateau for just the fourth time this month, which bodes well for his season-long owners moving forward. Although it appears that Julius Randle has taken on the No. 1 scoring role for the Knicks for the time being, Morris isn’t far behind and draws himself an extremely favorable matchup versus Washington on Saturday, who is yielding a league-high 122 points per game entering the contest. Should his DFS price tag remain near where it was Thursday, he could be a savvy addition to lineups.
