Marcus Morris Drops 22 Points In Blowout Victory
5 years agoNew York Knicks forward Marcus Morris helped his team to a 143-120 victory with 22 points and four rebounds against the Hawks. This marks back-to-back 20-point outings for Morris, who also shot six of 11 from the field with three makes from beyond the arc on five attempts in 21 minutes. Morris has taken full advantage of the sizeable role he's been given in New York, posting career highs in points and three-pointers per game, as well as percentage from distance. He's been rumored in trades over the last few days, which would almost certainly tank his value as one of the top options on the Knicks. Until then, not much indicates a drop-off in production for a guy currently outplaying his preseason ranking.
