6 years agoBoston Celtics power forward Marcus Morris dropped 19 points during Sunday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. He shot 8-for-14 from the floor, converting all six shots he took inside the arc. His points total marks his highest in a contest since Jan. 9, now having finished six of his last seven outings in double figures. Despite a season in which he was shifted to a bench role before re-entering the starting five, Morris is set to average a new career high in scoring this year at 14.8 points per game through play Sunday. He next faces Cleveland on Tuesday, whom he has notched double figures against in both prior meetings this season.--Jesse Borek
