Marcus Smart Fills Stat Sheet In Start
6 years agoBoston Celtics point/shooting guard Marcus Smart was all over the board during Friday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with 12 points, seven assists, three rebounds and three steals, even adding a pair of triples as he drew the start in place of the injured Jaylen Brown. While he didn’t see the same 40-minute workload as his last time out, Smart’s second start of the season showed that he’s a must-roster player when Brown is absent from the rotation. That makes him primarily a DFS play for now, but it’s worth monitoring to see if this stretch can’t earn Smart some more playing time in the long run.
