Marcus Smart Ruled Out For Monday’s Contest
4 years agoBoston Celtics point/shooting guard Marcus Smart (thumb) will miss Monday's game versus the Raptors due to a sprained right thumb. With Jeff Teague (ankle) also sidelined, Payton Pritchard is in line to see a considerable workload, with Jaylen Brown also likely to see extended ball-handling opportunities, giving both added DFS upside. Smart has gotten off to a strong start in 2020-21, averaging a career-best 6.7 assists per contest while serving as the Celtics' starting point guard. His next chance to return to action comes Wednesday against the Heat.
