3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Iowa on Sunday. The 31-year-old has been working up his throwing regimen lately. He completed a live batting practice session this past Tuesday and threw a bullpen session on Friday. Stroman was placed on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation in early June. It isn't clear at this point if he'll need just one rehab outing or multiple. Stroman has made nine starts so far this year and he has a 5.32 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
