4 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Mark Melancon (back) was held out of Saturday's game after his back tightened up prior to warm-ups. Braves manager Brian Snitker appears optimistic that the injury isn't anything severe, even suggesting that Melancon could be available on Sunday. The Braves won Saturday's game over the Mets 5-3, relying on relievers Darren O'Day and Luke Jackson in the final three innings of the contest. Fantasy owners should still expect Melancon to be the top candidate for saves for the team in the near future.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
