6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward Markieff Morris led the charge for the second unit during Friday’s loss to the Toronto Raptors. Morris tied his second-highest scoring total this year with a 16-point effort, adding five rebounds and three assists across 29 minutes. He also added a pair of made threes, marking the first time all season he has made multiple threes in back-to-back games. Head coach Scott Brooks opted to bring Morris off the bench even with Dwight Howard missing the contest, but Morris was able to post his usual stat line regardless.--Jesse Borek
