Markieff Morris Scores 17 Points In First Thunder Start
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder power forward Markieff Morris drew his first start with his new club in place of the injured Paul George during Thursday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. It was Morris’ first start overall since Nov. 18, having shifted to a bench role over his final 18 games with the Washington Wizards. Morris was aggressive as usual, collecting 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting in just 19 minutes of action. Despite his ability to score in bunches, owners are likely best remaining in a holding pattern until Morris can log higher minutes totals on a consistent basis.
