6 years agoWashington Wizards forward/center Markieff Morris produced 16 points off the bench on Sunday against Indiana to lead the team in scoring. John Wall and Bradley Beal both had just seven points, so the Wizards needed somebody to take over the scoring and Morris did just that. He shot 5-for-12 from the field, missing mostly from three-point land, going 1-for-5 with his treys. He had a perfect 5-for-5 record from the charity stripe, while also adding six rebounds to his tally. That's now back-to-back strong efforts from Morris, who scored 20 points on Saturday against Phoenix. Making it three in a row will be difficult, though, as he'll be battling Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond next on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
