6 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Marvin Hall has been ruled out of preseason action on Saturday with an undisclosed injury. Hall has been competing for one of the last couple of spots on the roster this preseason. Given that this injury is not seen as major, it is thought that Hall has already done enough to make the roster. Hall has shown potential as both a receiver and a return man so far this preseason. There is some hope that Hall may be able to fill the Taylor Gabriel role, where the Falcons get the ball in his hands in different ways in the hope his speed makes things happen. Hall will not enter the season with much fantasy value but if he develops a role in this offense then he could have value off waiver wires in deeper leagues.--Ben Rolfe
