6 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward/center Marvin Williams demonstrated his range during Tuesday's win over the Miami Heat. Williams scored 12 points with all of them coming from an efficient 4-for-5 from behind the arc. He was relatively quiet everywhere else but managed to add in a steal and a block. Head coach James Borrego wants more attempts from deep this season and has given Williams the green light to let them fly, especially from the corners. He will see plenty of minutes as a starter and will get an added bonus if he can knock down a significant portion of his shots from distance this year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
