6 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward Marvin Williams wasted little time getting back into his groove when he logged a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds during Friday’s win over the Denver Nuggets. Williams had missed a game and a half due to a right shoulder strain, having had recorded his first two double-doubles of the season over his last five games. After whether or not he would play Friday was in doubt, Williams not only suited up, but started and logged 33 minutes, recording his third double-double and giving owners reason to snatch him up off the waiver wire.--Jesse Borek
