Mason Plumlee Agrees To Deal With Pistons
4 years agoFree agent center Mason Plumlee has agreed to a three-year, $25 million deal with the Detroit Pistons. The move seems to indicate that Christian Wood will leave Detroit in free agency, as Plumlee's addition doesn't make much sense otherwise. Detroit also acquired Dewayne Dedmon this week, giving them a new-look frontcourt. Plumlee averaged 7.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game off the Nuggets bench last season. If he winds up starting this year in Detroit, we could see a slight uptick in his numbers this year, making him an interesting late-round fantasy pick, though trusting a 30-year-old big who just changed teams isn't the safest idea.
