4 years agoDetroit Pistons center Mason Plumlee notched his third straight double-double in Thursday's win over the Lakers, collecting 17 points on a near-perfect 7-for-8 shooting while adding 10 rebounds. He went 3-for-3 at the line and added a pair of assists and one block in 27 minutes of action. Plumlee has had plenty of games with double-digit scoring and rebounding this season, but he hadn't recorded a single double-double before starting his current streak this week. He has a good chance to pick up one more before the week is done with Detroit visiting the Warriors, a team that tends to struggle on the glass and whose defense against opposing bigs hasn't been great, either.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
