Matt Jones Will Rely On Excellent Course History This Week
3 years agoMatt Jones has played the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am every year since 2008, and he has five top-15 finishes at the course. His best finish was in 2020, where he finished in fifth place. Jones gained 10.7 strokes total in 2020 to lose to runaway winner Nick Taylor by 10 strokes. Jones comes to Pebble Beach after two straight missed cuts. These past performances were a surprise after he torched Kapalua. In Maui, Jones set a record for the lowest 36-hole score on tour. The 41-year-old Australian will likely have low ownership this week in fantasy. Based on his course history, Jones could be a good sleeper option in DFS.
