3 years ago2008 was a long time ago, 13 years to be exact. That's the last time we saw Matt Kuchar tee it up at Torrey Pines. After missing three straight cuts in 2002, 2004 and 2007, Kuchar made the cut at both the 2008 Buick Invitational and U.S. Open, recording a best finish of 23rd in the Buick. Looking back just a few weeks, Kuchar didn't fair well at the long Kiawah Island PGA Championship. His game off the tee held him back then, and it will again this week. Sitting 171st in strokes gained off the tee and 185th in driving distance, not even his decent around-the-green and approach game can save him from being a victim of Torrey Pines this week.--Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
