6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Matt Moore will have his work cut out Tuesday, facing the Oakland Athletics. The statistics are against Moore heading into this start. In five home starts this season, Moore is 0-3 with a 7.83 ERA. Equally in six career starts against the Athletics, Moore is 1-2 with a 6.82 ERA. There is little upside to Moore in this start as he has 39 strikeouts in 47 innings, this season, to go with a 7.85 ERA. Moore is a pitcher I would look to avoid in this start at home on Tuesday.--Ben Rolfe
