7 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Matt Moore will make his ninth start of the season Friday. Moore will start Friday in place of Doug Fister, who was moved up to Thursday when Cole Hamels was scratched from his start. In 38 innings this season, Moore has a 7.82 ERA, 18 walks and 28 strikeouts. The Chicago White Sox are a team who can always offer upside for a pitcher, as they have a tendency to be hit or miss at the plate. However, Moore has only had one outing this season where he has given up less than three earned runs. Moore is someone we would avoid in DFS on Friday, as the risk greatly outweighs the reward for Moore in this start.--Ben Rolfe
