3 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Angels on Monday. The Angels brought in left-hander Alex Claudio to face Olson, but it didn't matter as Olson has been money versus pitchers of the same-handedness this season. Of his 24 homers, Olson has 12 each versus righties and lefties despite 73 fewer at-bats versus lefties. He's slugging .638 versus southpaws this season as Olson cannot be neutralized by left-handed pitching.
