6 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan could be in for a mixed week against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The Redskins defense sits pretty much in the middle of the league against the pass so far this season, and they have surrendered an average of 18.78 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. However, Ryan has struggled in his two road starts this season, throwing just one touchdown and completing just 58% of his passes. In his career Ryan has a quarterback rating 10 points lower on the road than at home. In addition, in four career starts against the Redskins, Ryan has four touchdowns to five interception. This offense is going to need to pass the ball if they are to have success this week and that means Ryan has a chance to have a good week. However, entering Week 9 it is hard to completely trust Ryan in this matchup.--Ben Rolfe
