6 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan could be in for a tough day against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. Last season the Eagles ranked 22nd, allowing an average of 15.86 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Last season, in the playoffs Ryan threw for 210 yards and a touchdown when facing the Eagles. Defensively the Eagles have a very strong defensive line, and the Falcons offensive line struggled when trying to stop a quality defensive line in the preseason. If Ryan is to have success Thursday, he will need to get the ball out of his hands quickly. Ryan may struggle to rank among the top-12 fantasy quarterbacks in week one.--Ben Rolfe
