6 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Schaub has done enough in the preseason to solidify his spot as the backup to Matt Ryan. Schaub has dropped back 27 times, going 20-for-26 with 194 yards and one touchdown. Schaub has been by far the best of the Falcons QBs in the preseason, and looks to have shut down any potential of him losing his roster spot to undrafted free agent Kurt Benkert. However, even by earning the spot as the Falcons backup, Schaub still does not have any fantasy value going forward, unless Ryan was to get injured.--Ben Rolfe
