6 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Schaub had a solid outing in the Falcons second preseason game against the Chiefs. The Falcons backup went 7-for-10 with 75 yards and a touchdown. Schaub threw the most passes of all of the Falcons quarterbacks, and his solid performance will likely have strengthened his position as the backup to Matt Ryan. A good sign for the Falcons is that Schaub connected with rookie receiver Calvin Ridley for a touchdown. Schaub will only have fantasy value if something were to happen to Ryan. However, if that were to happen he would have a decent amount if upside in this offense.--Ben Rolfe
