3 years agoMatthew Fitzpatrick will make his second career start at Riviera this week in what will be his first start on Tour since November of 2020. Fitzpatrick was struggling a bit before his hiatus, missing two cuts in five starts to start the season. He will not have an advantage in distance off the tee this week, so he will have to rely on his driving accuracy that ranks 39th on Tour. His irons have been decent, but his play around the greens as well as his putting need to improve if he is going to compete. Fitzpatrick's ceiling is likely low this week. --Connor Wege
