Matthew NeSmith Looking For Another Strong Performance
4 years agoMatthew NeSmith will make his second career start at Pebble Beach, finishing 11th last season. NeSmith has been a bit inconsistent this season, but he has proved he can play solid golf with a couple top-10 finishes in ten starts. His approach shots have been great, ranking third in greens in regulation percentage and 12th in strokes gained approaching the green. However, his putting stroke needs to be better. He ranks just 145h in strokes gained putting and is converting birdies at a rate under 30 percent. NeSmith has some value if he plays to his potential, but there is some risk involved inserting him into a DFS lineup.
