6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers small forward Maurice Harkless has already been ruled out for Friday’s contest versus the Charlotte Hornets due to left knee soreness. Harkless has been battling knee issues and will now miss his third contest in his team’s last four games; while he’s still on a game-to-game basis, he’s certainly not trending in the right direction after being ruled out more than 24 hours prior to tip. Jake Layman has seen an increase in minutes, but hasn’t done much to warrant even DFS consideration. For now, owners can side with needing Harkless to prove his health before he can be rostered with confidence.--Jesse Borek
