Maverick McNealy Set For Debut At TPC Southwind

2 years agoRight now, Maverick McNealy is on the outside looking in at a spot in the Tour Championship, as he sits in 31st position in the standings. With only needing to gain one spot over the next two weeks, McNealy has a great chance to take his first trip to East Lake this season. However, he will first need to make his debut at TPC Southwind and the FedEx St. Jude. McNealy will be making his debut in the event and should be able to put up a nice showing. McNealy fits the bill in terms of his play tee to green, as well as on the greens. McNealy currently sits 32nd in strokes gained putting this season, as well as 45th in strokes gained total. The only question for McNealy will be his approach game. McNealy hasn't hit over 70% of greens in an event since the Travelers Championship in June. However, in the only event he hit over 69% of greens since the Travelers Championship, he finished T8. If McNealy can find a way to hit 70% of greens this week, he might be the steal of the weekend at his incredibly low DFS price. --Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
