Max Kepler Cranks Two Homers
5 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler kept his strong season going in Saturday's 10-3 win over the Chicago White Sox. Kepler hit 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in the contest, his 20th and 21st homers of the year. He has surpassed his previous career high (20) in home runs before the All-Star break in what has been a breakout campaign that has gone mostly under-the-radar relative to his production. For the season, Kepler is hitting .269/.344/.548 with 21 homers, 53 RBI, and 53 runs scored. He holds a .279 ISO, .376 wOBA, and 43.7% hard-hit rate. He's looking like a great mixed-league asset and the numbers suggest that his production is for real and sustainable for the rest of the season. Batting leadoff in one of the best offenses in baseball certainly doesn't hurt his value. Continue to hold on to and start Kepler in all fantasy formats.
