3 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard/small forward Max Strus (quad) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Hornets due to a right quad contusion. Strus has emerged as one of the league's premier marksmen over the past month, having knocked down an average of 3.3 triples per contest, all while shooting at a 41.9% clip from deep since Jan. 5. Without Strus in the mix, Tyler Herro can be expected to see a larger offensive role among the second unit, while Caleb Martin stands to snare added minutes. Strus' next opportunity to return to action comes Monday against Washington.--Jesse Borek
