4 years agoMiami Heat forward Meyers Leonard has reportedly been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Miami will send Leonard and a 2027 second-round pick to OKC in exchange for veteran forward Trevor Ariza. This trade likely won't benefit either player in terms of fantasy value. Ariza hasn't played in a year and will have to compete for playing time on a stacked Heat roster. The Thunder are not competing and are looking towards a rebuild, which means they'd rather use their younger players. It would be surprising to see Leonard getting consistent minutes in OKC. In order for this trade to happen Leonard must waive his no-trade clause, which he is expected to do.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
