5 years agoMiami Heat center Meyers Leonard is a free agent after the 2020-2021 season, but would like to stay with the organization. “I’m in a good place here in Miami,” Leonard said. “I really feel as though I help Jimmy [Butler] and Bam [Adebayo] in a lot of ways." He just wants to be a team player and help the organization win with whatever he needs to do. Leonard has started 49 games for the Heat this season, but his stats aren't exactly impressive at the moment. However, Leonard is improving his percentage from beyond the arc, which has been helpful for Miami. Whether or not Leonard returns to Miami remains to be seen, but it sounds like he'd love to sign an extension with the organization.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
