4 years agoMiami Heat power forward/center Meyers Leonard (shoulder) has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest versus Philadelphia due to a left shoulder injury. His absence, along with the Heat's extensive injury report due to the league's COVID-19 protocols, means that Miami will be immensely short-handed in the front court. Kelly Olynyk, Andre Iguodala, Chris Silva and Precious Achiuwa all figure to see sizable upticks in usage without Leonard and others available Tuesday night. It bodes well for Leonard moving forward that he cleared the COVID-19 protocols, meaning that he could be back in action as soon Thursday when the team wraps up its set in Philly.--Jesse Borek
